A home, not just a service

Seven Springs is situated in a beautiful rural area of Tunbridge Wells. Established 54 years ago this beautiful residential service is home to 30 residents with a range of disabilities. As a resident, you can choose to travel into town where there are shops, restaurants, parks and cafés or you can choose to enjoy the many facilities such as the state-of-the-art hydro pool and physiotherapy centre. With a dedicated and experienced team, residents have all their needs met and our staff are committed to ensuring that you get the most out of live.

As a driver at Seven Springs there may be times where you are not required to be out on the road, on these occasions you will provide support in a maintenance role (don't worry, you don't need to be a plumber/electrician - just good with your hands and willing to help out around the service).

Your working hours

This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (with a bit of flexibility to support residents needing to attend medical appointments)

Enhanced pay: £1.00 per hour will only apply to night working (8pm Monday to 7am Friday) and weekend working (8pm Friday to 7am Monday). This does not apply to Sleep-Ins. 

What you'll do

  • Provide safe, reliable transport for residents, staff, and visitors
  • Support individuals to access appointments, activities, and community events
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks, ensuring safety and cleanliness
  • Maintain accurate records and logs for journeys and maintenance
  • Offer a friendly, supportive presence to everyone you transport
