A home, not just a service

At our Hill House service you’ll play a hands-on role in providing high-quality, person-centred care to young adults and older residents with complex nursing needs in a busy, fast-paced 24-bed home. You’ll be part of a close-knit team that ensures residents are safe, comfortable and treated with dignity, while also encouraging independence, choice and meaningful activities. You’ll build trusting relationships, through the use of calm and thoughtful communication, and adapt to changing needs and preferences throughout the day.

Our service feels like family – relaxed, supportive, and centred around the people who live here. Every day brings new moments to celebrate: from small wins in independence to big laughs over mealtimes.

Your working hours

We offer part-time hours, at 34.5 hours per week.

You’ll need to be flexible to work every other weekend as part of a rota.

Typical shifts may include:

• Day shifts: [e.g. 7:30am–7:30pm]

You will be working three long days per week (12 hour shifts, with a 30 minute unpaid break)

From 1 December 2025 new enhancement rates of £1.00 per hour will only apply to night working (8pm Monday to 7am Friday) and weekend working (8pm Friday to 7am Monday). This does not apply to Sleep-Ins.

• Support with daily living tasks such as personal care, mealtimes, and medication
• Encourage independence through a person-centred approach
• Accompany people to appointments, events, and community activities
• Keep clear, accurate records
• Most importantly – help each person live life on their own terms

No previous care experience? No problem – we’ll give you all the training you need.
