£22.85 per hour | Deputy Manager Registered Nurse | St Cecilia’s – Bromley | Full Time – 37.5 Hours per Week (with the expectation of covering nursing shifts as needed)

About the role

As a Deputy Manager Registered Nurse at St Cecilia’s – Bromley, you’ll work alongside the Service Manager to make sure our home runs smoothly. You’ll lead and support a caring team of nurses and support workers, helping residents get the best possible care and support.

You’ll also help with nursing duties when needed, making sure we always provide safe, kind, and person-centred care.

Your working hours

This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week) but will also need to cover nursing shifts when required.

From 1 December 2025, you’ll earn an extra £1.00 per hour for night shifts (8pm Monday – 7am Friday) and weekend shifts (8pm Friday – 7am Monday).
 (This does not apply to sleep-ins.)

What you’ll do

  • Support the Service Manager and take charge when they’re away
  • Lead, guide, and support the nursing and care team
  • Help create a safe, caring, and happy home for residents
  • Deliver high-quality nursing and personal care
  • Encourage independence, choice, and positive outcomes
  • Make sure we meet all health, safety, and care standards

What we’re looking for

  • A current NMC registration (Registered Nurse)
  • Some leadership or management experience
  • Experience working with people with physical or learning disabilities
  • The ability to work well as part of a team
  • A caring, flexible, and reliable approach
