£12.90 per hour | Part Time – 15 Hours per Week | Hydon Hill – Godalming, Surrey | Fridays & Saturdays (7.5-hour shifts)

A kitchen with a purpose
Hydon Hill, located in the beautiful rural outskirts of Godalming, Surrey, actively involves its residents in the local community. Here, people take part in a wide range of activities using local resources, making every day engaging and enjoyable.

Your working hours
This is a part-time role of 15 hours per week, split into 7.5-hour shifts on Fridays and Saturdays 

A night enhancement of £1.50 per hour applies from 8pm to 7am, Monday – Sunday (excluding sleep-ins).
A weekend day enhancement of £2.00 per hour applies from 7am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday.

Please note: Enhancements may be changing from 1 December 2025 under consultation to £1.00 per hour for night working (8pm Monday – 7am Friday) and weekend working (8pm Friday – 7am Monday).

What you’ll do
 • Deliver a varied, healthy, and nutritionally balanced menu, meeting specific dietary requirements
 • Run an efficient kitchen within budget
 • Supervise and support kitchen staff in food preparation
 • Maintain exceptional hygiene and cleanliness in line with Health & Safety regulations
 • Get creative providing catering for events and special occasions
 • Make a positive impact on residents’ lives through your meals

What helps you shine here
 • Experience working in a kitchen environment
 • Any exposure to managing various dietary requirement (gluten intolerances, texture varied diets, vegetarian etc)
