A home with heart
 As a Team Leader with Leonard Cheshire, you will be part of a fantastic team dedicated to delivering person-centred care and support. You will help our customers live fulfilling lives, promoting independence and supporting their individual aspirations.

Your working hours
 This is a full-time role of 36 hours per week, covering a variety of shifts:

  • Long days: 07:00 – 19:30 / 06:30 – 19:00 / 10:00 – 22:30
  • Short days: 06:30 – 13:00 / 13:00 – 19:00
  • Twilight shift: 16:00 – 22:30
  • One sleep-in per week

From 1 December 2025, enhancement rates of £1.00 per hour will apply to night working (8pm Monday – 7am Friday) and weekend working (8pm Friday – 7am Monday). (This does not apply to sleep-ins.)

About the role
As a Care Team Leader with Leonard Cheshire, you will supervise and support a team of Support Workers, promoting positive outcomes for residents and supporting a flexible, person-centred approach. You will:
 • Lead with passion and enthusiasm, ensuring residents receive high-quality care and support
 • Support customers with daily tasks and help them achieve their individual aspirations
 • Promote independence through personalised care planning
 • Supervise, coach, and motivate a team of Support Workers
 • Work collaboratively with residents, families, and colleagues to provide excellent care

What helps you shine here
 • NVQ/SVQ Level 3 or Level 4 in Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards a relevant qualification
 • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
 • Experience supervising a team in a care setting
 • Flexibility to work within rostered hours and participate in an on-call rota
 • Proactive and creative approach to supporting residents
