A home, not just a service
Our Livingston service supports adults with disabilities in a warm, welcoming environment where every day is filled with opportunities to connect, create, and celebrate life. As an Activities Worker, you’ll bring energy and imagination to your role — helping residents enjoy meaningful experiences that promote wellbeing, inclusion, and fun.
From themed events and community outings to arts, crafts, and baking sessions, you’ll play a key part in making our service a vibrant and engaging place to live.
Your working hours
Full time – 35 hours per week, 5 days a week, including weekends and occasional evenings, depending on planned activities.
From 1 December 2025, enhancement rates of £1.00 per hour will apply to:
• Night working (8pm Monday – 7am Friday)
• Weekend working (8pm Friday – 7am Monday)
(Enhancements do not apply to sleep-ins.)

What you’ll do
• Plan and deliver a range of engaging activities, tailored to residents’ interests and abilities
• Encourage participation and social connection through creativity, fun, and shared experiences
• Organise outings and events, ensuring everyone feels included and supported
• Bring ideas to life — from group baking sessions to themed parties or small social clubs
• Support residents to express themselves and discover new interests
No previous experience in activity work? That’s fine! We’ll give you all the support and training you need.
If you already have experience or creative talents to share — even better!
