Our care home service in Inverness provides a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for people with disabilities. We focus on promoting independence, choice, and participation in daily life.
About the role
As a Team Leader, you will supervise and deploy staff within your allocated team, ensuring customers receive high-quality care, personal support, and assistance with daily living tasks and activities. You will support the Service Manager, Operations Manager, and colleagues to help customers reach their full potential, encouraging choice, participation, and motivation.
Key responsibilities include:
• Line management of Support Workers within the service
• Ensuring high standards of care and support, guided by Person-Centred Plans
• Supporting the team to deliver a safe, consistent, and empowering environment
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring confidentiality
• Contributing to service compliance with regulatory and legal frameworks
• Promoting self-advocacy and empowerment for service users
What helps you shine here
• SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, or working towards it
• Prior experience in a care setting and working with people with disabilities
• Full, clean driving licence (if required)
• Flexibility to work within rostered hours
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Understanding of employment practices, Health & Safety legislation, and regulatory frameworks
• Highly developed IT skills in standard Microsoft packages
