Join Newhaven Road in Edinburgh as a Support Worker and play a key role in providing high-quality care and comfort to our service users. 

A home, not just a service

Newhaven Road is a residential service in the north of Edinburgh supporting seven adults with physical disabilities. Located next to Victoria Park and close to local amenities including a bowling green, tennis courts, and a shopping centre, the service offers an active and community-focused environment. With excellent transport links into central Edinburgh, individuals are supported to enjoy social activities, independence, and meaningful daily experiences

Your working hours

We offer full-time hours, 37.5 per week. You will work 5 days a week (including weekends as part of a rota)

Morning shifts: 07:00 - 15:00 and back shifts: 13:30 - 21:30

You'll need to be flexible to work all shifts specified.

• Support with daily living tasks such as personal care, mealtimes, and medication
• Encourage independence through a person-centred approach
• Provide support and encouragement to engage in community activities
• Most importantly – help each person live life on their own terms

Previous care experience is essential.
